To all Tarzan
fans from Serbia – I just got the information from Marketprint that my fourth, unpublished
episode of Tarzan, The Illusionist
(Opsenar), will finally be published in Stripoteka in July.
Ko čeka, taj dočeka!
Many thanks to Sibin
Slavković and Predrag Djurić!
Hvala na informaciji, Petre!
ReplyDeleteZnaci ipak ne moramo da cekamo do septembra. :)
Da, ne moramo da cekamo jos par meseci...na srecu.
DeleteYou seem to be succsfull with your old comics. Maybe it's the right time to make some new ones.
ReplyDeleteWell, Fred, perhaps you are right… I will think about that, while painting my pictures and working on my new book projects. And when I get tired of creating paintings, I might decide to do, for instance, a Tarzan comic book entirely in oils… Only I am afraid it would take me ages to finish it, and when (if) I am finally finished, nobody would want to publish it, because it will be outdated… No, my friend, I think I will stick to illustration and painting…only. I will leave comics in your and Dejan’s safe and capable hands…
ReplyDeleteSee you soon!
Terrific news, Petar! Finally your lost adventure will be shown.
ReplyDelete--John
Hi John,
DeleteNot mine, but Tarzan's lost adventure! Sounds more appropriate, right!? My adventure is still going on, fortunately :)
Take care!
Bravo Petar!...and here is your great cover for new (July) issue of "Stripoteka":

P.S. I don't think your drawings will be outdated for next 1000 years :-), especially for Tarzan (Foster and Hogarth versions still rules, even today)...and please, make some comic when you find time...maybe Conan ;-)?
All best!
Mickey
Thanks very much for the link, Mickey!
DeleteThis is my first Tarzan cover done for the episode Miss Fanny. It has never been used before. I wish they used a better one...However, Bane Kerac has colored it nicely!
